Toddlers

Our Toddler Programme caters for children from 2 years through to Grade RR, with a dedicated, age-appropriate programme for each developmental stage. Approximately 40 themes are explored throughout the year, with progressive learning outcomes across Language, early Maths, Life Skills and social-emotional development.

We believe children learn best through doing. Rather than relying on copied worksheets, concepts are introduced through hands-on, kinaesthetic learning, using movement and practical activities to build understanding and long-term memory. Once a concept is established, children progress from real 3D objects to 2D activities on paper.

Children’s progress is monitored throughout the year, with progress reports provided three times annually and an individual portfolio of their work maintained for assessment and to celebrate their development.

Class sizes are carefully managed according to age and developmental needs, with additional support staff and teaching assistants allocated where required—ensuring children receive the individual attention, care and interaction they need.
