Our Mission
To be the preferred provider of superior childcare and pre-primary education service to empower a child for a competitive and rapidly transforming society of the future.
We consist of 3 main departments:
Baby Department
Classes Include:
Junior Babies – Ages 3 – 18 months
Senior Babies – Ages 18 – 24 months
Aftercare Department
Primary school learners from surrounding Primary Schools.
Transportation 1 way or 2 way is available at an additional cost and is only available for learners who attend our centre.
We love, nurture, teach, kindle and motivate each little person in our care. We guide them through structured play and educational, yet fun activities to develop to their full potential and building a solid foundation for all future learning.
We focus on early Literacy, Mathematics, Life Skills , Coding and Robotics.
We do in house training of all personnel – teachers and assistants annually. Personnel are also trained in Fire Fighting and First Aid.
Our Gr R graduates are well received by our neighbouring primary schools as we have over the years built up a reputation of high quality education and preparing them well for ‘big school’( Gr 1 ) .
Therefore we say we are “Raising the Pre-school Benchmark!”
Our Extramural Activities
We offer optional fun and exciting extramural activities that are not included in our school fees. These activities are provided by external contractors and may vary each year.
Examples include Swimming (Aqua Centre), Movefit, Tribal Blue, Karate. For more details, please enquire at the office.
Meet Our Owner
I’m Gerda Du Plessis, the owner and principal since 2000. I oversee all aspects of the school’s operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
My role extends beyond administration—I am deeply involved in the well-being of each child in our care. I know them personally and closely monitor their academic, emotional, and physical development. I carefully review their assessment reports and actively engage in the academic teaching process.
Seeing each child grow, learn, and flourish brings me endless joy and fulfilment.
